Help with Sayforth

Most account, billing, and data questions are answered below. For anything else, email us directly, there's no phone tree and no contact form to fill out.

Contact us

Email support@sayforth.app and a person will read it. We reply within 2 business days, usually sooner.

Include your device model and iOS version for any bug report, and whether you're on the free or Daily coaching plan for any billing question.

How to cancel your subscription

Sayforth doesn't process payments and can't cancel a subscription on your behalf; all Sayforth subscriptions are managed through your Apple ID. Follow these steps:

  1. Open the Settings app on your iPhone.
  2. Tap your name at the top.
  3. Tap Subscriptions.
  4. Tap Sayforth.
  5. Tap Cancel Subscription, and confirm.

You'll keep Daily coaching access until the end of the period you already paid for. Canceling doesn't delete your data; the app continues to work on the free plan afterward. If you don't see Sayforth listed, you may be signed into a different Apple ID than the one used to subscribe.

Alternative path: open the App Store app → tap your profile icon (top right) → Subscriptions.

How to delete your account and data

  1. Open Sayforth and go to Settings.
  2. Tap Delete my data.
  3. Confirm. This removes your recordings, transcripts, metrics, and account records, from your device and from our backend, and revokes Sign in with Apple if you used it.

No account or email is required to do this, and it works even if you've never signed in. This does not cancel an active Apple subscription, cancel that separately using the steps above. If you'd rather have us do it, email support@sayforth.app from the address on your account and we'll confirm deletion within 30 days. Full details are in our Privacy Policy.

How to request a copy of your data

Your session history, transcripts, metrics, and feedback are visible in the app itself under Progress at any time, no request needed. For a formal export or data subject access request (for example, under GDPR or CCPA), email support@sayforth.app with the subject line "Data request" and we'll respond within 30 days.

Common questions

The app isn't hearing me clearly. What's wrong?

Check that Sayforth has microphone access in Settings → Privacy & Security → Microphone, and try practicing somewhere quieter. If a session's transcript looks clearly wrong, the feedback screen will say we couldn't measure it confidently rather than guess, and that session won't count against your metrics.

I upgraded to Daily coaching but it still shows Free.

Open Settings in the app and tap Restore Purchases. This re-checks your Apple ID for an active subscription. If it still doesn't update, check Settings → your name → Subscriptions on your iPhone to confirm the subscription is active, then email us.

I was charged after canceling.

Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, not immediately, so a charge that happened before you canceled is expected. If you were charged after your subscription should have ended, that's an Apple billing issue: request a review at reportaproblem.apple.com, since Apple processes all payments and refunds.

Can I use Sayforth on more than one device?

Sign in with Apple to sync your progress across your iPhones. Without signing in, your data stays local to that device only.

How do I report a bug?

Email support@sayforth.app with what happened, what you expected instead, and your device model and iOS version. A screen recording helps if the bug is visual.
